Fire Destroys Thrift Store

on July 30th, The Quinn House experienced a fire that has completely shut down our Thrift Store.  For over 30 years we’ve been able to serve the community and those in need in Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County with, clothes, furniture, household items and appliances. With our distribution center now devastated, we are actively searching on a new location where we can begin to support the community again.

And there’s a lot to do.  Not only did we lose our store, but our church and probably most upsetting of all, our Christmas Outreach.  For over 25 years we have made sure thousands of parents who have fallen on hard times have toys and gifts to give to their children on Christmas day.  Unfortunately, all of our supplies to help organize this event have been consumed by the fire.

During this pandemic, the demand has been higher than it’s ever been before.  We need your help to reach those who, through no fault of their own, have fallen on hard times.  Through your gift, we’ll begin to restock for our Toy Drive, open a new store, and make sure that those in need now are not forgotten.  Visit to make your tax-deductible donation today.

We know that no matter what might come our way, our God is well able to turn everything around for our good, even this fire.  Thanks for your time, and we’ll see again real soon.
